Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in social work, phycology, sociology or a closely related field
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college with a major in any field and one-year experience as a social worker in a public or private social service agency
- Must possess a valid Driver's License
Position Summary:
Primary Duties:
- Assesses and monitor the Psychosocial, behavioral, medical, and safety needs of children/youth.
- Create, implement, and monitor detailed service plans to manage goals, services, and resources specific to each client, while maintaining files to meet federal, state, and local mandates and timelines.
- Make referrals to a variety of support services and monitor these services to ensure they are meeting the needs of the child/youth and family.
- Provide education.
- Travel to see clients at least monthly.
- Document all client related activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Hours:
Full-time hourly exempt 40 hours per week on average; Monday-Friday; possible on-call may be required at times on holidays or weekends.
Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation range for this position is $69,535 - $90,740 annually. The position is eligible for a wide range of competitive benefits, including state pension plan, vacation time, sick time, personal and holiday leave time. In addition, the position is eligible for the County's health plan; Dental, Vision and Life Insurance; Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts; Long-Term and Short-Term Disability; Supplemental Accidental, Hospital, and Critical Illness plans; and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program. The County contributes monthly health benefits to aid in the rising of insurance costs with the contribution rate evaluated annually. Additionally, employees have the option to take part of this contribution as cash in lieu of benefits. This position is also eligible for part-time telecommuting after a 6-month probationary period.
