Description

QUALIFICATIONS:
1) High school diploma or equivalent. 2) Valid driver’s license. 3) Successful completion of the State AIS Lake Service Provider training. Equipment operator experience preferred.

DUTIES:
  • Working on the Becker County Solid Waste Campus assisting staff manage the flow of commodities at the solid waste transfer station and recycling facilities
  • Tramway Duties: Operation of Becker County's boat tramway located between Lake Sallie and Muskrat Lake in Dunton Locks County Park. Educate the public on invasive species prevention practices. Distribute written information to watercraft users. Inspection of boats for exotic and noxious plants, assist public in removal of vegetation & maintain grounds surrounding Tramway.
  • Assist Staff maintain County Parks and public lake access's (grounds maintenance/recreational facility development).
Positions will start a week prior to Memorial Day and run through Labor Day. Maximum of 67 working days.

COMPENSATION:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience. Weekend shift differential of an additional $1.00 per hour.
